The Security Options page enables you to select the type of connection your browser will establish with ISI's web server.
All data -- including document lists and user information -- that passes between your PC and ISI's web server is encrypted. If anyone intercepts your Internet transaction, the data will not be readable.
None of the data in your order is encrypted. We offer this option because some web browsers are not able to encrypt or decrypt data, and some firewalls (servers that protect your institution's network from unauthorized outside access) do not allow encrypted data to pass through them.
Select the "Standard server" option if you received an error message from your browser when you selected the "Secure server" option. The error message will vary from browser to browser, but it will indicate that you cannot connect with the ISI Document Solution server.
While we recommend that you select "Secure server", especially if you are giving us your credit card number, most Internet transactions are as safe as using your credit card to place a telephone order.
